    It's been about 5 years since I've looked at Ubuntu Touch (or UBPorts?), so it was time I revisited this alternative OS.

    And now with Waydroid in a really usable state, it is really close to being fully usable for me.

    Let's take a look!

      @thelinuxEXP flathub has good collection of apps, I already using 42 apps on my fp5 phosh pmos. The phone is going into direction of some kind of desktop. I'm doing a lot of things on it and bluetooth keyboard plus second screen helps with it. For sure I'm not going to buy any x86 hardware anymore.

        @thelinuxEXP Salut Nick, bonne vidéo. Étonnant de voir que ca l'existe (et cé cool). Le problème, c'est le monde comme moi qui veulent switcheer, mais à cause de certaine restriction, oui toi maudit microsoft authentificateur, peuvent pas, à cause dla job qui utilise crosft:( Faudrait faire un suivi pour voir jusqu'où ca va, car waydroid, ca l'air cool en sale. Cé installable sur le desktop aussi je suppose?

          @thelinuxEXP note:
          UT does support fingerprint readers, maybe not on that device, but the OS itself supports using that type of sensor, and I have had multiple devices were it works fine.

                  @mikeTesteLinuxQlub @Oleksii @thelinuxEXP Isn’t Microsoft Authenticator just another 2FA app that’s interchangeable with any other 2FA app like Google Authenticator, or Ente Auth, or 2FAS, or… ? If it’s about generating 6 digit codes that change every 30s, you’re all set, everyone and their grandma can do it.

                    @thelinuxEXP Thank you for taking a look at this! I always enjoy looking at alternatives, being an old Windows Phone 8.x user myself (and briefly testing Windows 10 Mobile), before moving to Android and then iPhone.

                      @vincent @Oleksii @thelinuxEXP There a feature that send a specific number, so no unfortunatly, my work place use that fking feature 😞

                      But I'll check if I still can use the 6 digit code , because if i can, that will be one step closer to say goodbye to android 😂

                                  @theprivacydad @thelinuxEXP Hey! Does your kid know about PostmarketOS? Used it on my pixel 3a for quite a while (6-12 months?) quite happily! I didn't experience a lot of the issues they described in the blog post. From what I see online pmos seems to be a more active community (Might be biased on that though)
