Kettu saalistusreissulla – Fox on a hunting trip
Koskikarojen ruokailupaikoilla jään reunamilla näkyy paljon ketunjälkiä ja tässä yksi niiden tekijöistä. Ketut ovat kaikkiruokaisia ja vesien äärellä on lintujen lisäksi mm. jyrsijöitä ja näätiä (lumikko, kärppä, minkki), joita voi yrittää saalistaa. Koskikarat ovat edelleen tallella.

At the feeding places of white-throated dippers, you can see a lot of fox tracks on the edges of the ice, and here is one of their makers. Foxes are omnivores, and in addition to birds, there are rodents and mustelids (weasels, stoats, minks) that can be hunted by the waters. The white-throated dippers are still there.
