For some reason my wife thinks that this laptop is embarassing. What's wrong with giant letters on the keys made with a paint pen? And my call sign? Lol, yes, so nerdy.

@VE7WYC Even as a dyed-in-the-wool blank HHKB user, I don't see how DIY key labels would be embarrassing. What would be embarrassing is buying a new laptop just because the key labels wore-off on the old one.

@ai6yr @VE7WYC LOL my first mechanical kb I got was a Das, but I didn't understand what they meant w their naming conventions and got when with blank keys, I eventually bought new keycaps for it because I really liked it otherwise. Still have it. But that looks like a good mode IMO. Though since I tend to fly my battlestation in the dark I prefer backlit kb

@gre I think the fact that the letters are oversized so that you can read them from across the room.
