@eclectech so cool!
@GreenSkyOverMe I was *far* too excited when I realised they were there (the path only has a very small number of posts - it was a tiny balancing miracle)!

You might remember my distress at not having been able to grab any tiny balancing sheep photos. Went out for a walk today and it wasn't perfect (the pathway is noticeably higher than the field which makes it tricky) BUT VICTORY IS MINE!
I continue to stand by rubbish-but-real being better than polished-but-fake.
Behold my rubbish-but-real triptych.
Rubbish but real is entirely my approach
(While trying (but mostly failing, in good humour) to become less rubbish through practice.)

@eclectech Excellent work!
I hardly ever come across sheep in my neck of the woods but I did meet someone repainting the lighthouse!
I did think of the magnificent but too rare tiny balancing sheep whenI took this

@OccasionalDucks Definitely the way forward. I am going to try and work up to a good tiny balancing sheep, but getting some rubbish ones was still very satisfying!

@eclectech Your creativity always astounds me. I'm adopting your posts as my 'emotional support toots'.

@eclectech clearly in #3, the tiny sheep is going to the grass on top of the fencepost.
-
@Dolphinchaz Hehe, you are (definitely) too kind

@eclectech Also, I would think keeping the sheep AND the post in focus would be a challenge.

@nxskok Yes! This is what I thought too.

@Nead Yeah, funnily enough my attempts the other week (when I was grumping at my failure) was partly due to that issue (they were also on a branch rather than posts, which didn't work as well). Today I decided to grab the moment with my phone instead (so not such good photos, but goal achieved). Next step is to workout the settings on the camera to get better quality ones.
