I muted the word "Slavic" and all variants of it several times from my IG feed (I know, it sucks to still occasionally use it). But the algorithm is desperate to show me covert pro-Russia influencers pushing "Slavic" as an identity or aesthetic (as opposed to a linguistic group or the tool of Russian imperialism & hegemony that it primarily is). It's incredibly frustrating, does anyone else keep being shown muted content?

@aliide Interesting...... Because I went to a European deli in US and asked the girl after looking around whether it was a Polish, Russian or whatever type of deli.

Her response was very bold and angry..

"NO! NOT POLISH. NOT RUSSIAN! SLAVIC! THIS IS A SLAVIC DELI!"

Now it makes sense.
