@chris we are constantly in planning mode for a potential move up there, so news like this... is troubling. Last thing we want to do is move the whole family up north, then find ourselves in another country subjugated by the one we just left....
@johnbrown all I can say is that unlike the USA we still have options. namely @avilewis We are not nearly as far down the road as the USA or UK.

Media means corporations and they hate socialism. It's in a way unfortunate but, in another way it's good because of technology. If the NDP can use tech efficiently the media conglomerates won't matter. Here's hoping!

“We need to build new trade relationships in order to move from reliance to resilience”
It’s not all about kissing up to the US.
