I am now of the opinion that everyone with testicles should get a vasectomy at 18 and have it reversed if they want kids so bad.

I am now of the opinion that everyone with testicles should get a vasectomy at 18 and have it reversed if they want kids so bad. If I had known this was going to be so trivial, that's what I would've done and spared every partner I've ever had from the burden of birth control. This is ridiculous. It was 1.5 days ago and I already can't find the incision site.

@vjgoh Not reliably reversible, for starters

@seachaint significantly reliable—somewhere between 60-95%. Presumably even more reliable if we did them with that in mind. But there are so many people here that have had it reversed—my girlfriend knows them (because she’s a family doctor that delivers a significant proportion of the babies here and hears those stories). But even if it weren’t, you can have the sperm extracted and used in IVF.
