My local Indian(*) joint shut down sometime last year and they have now come back under a different name. This seems to happen a lot with "ethnic" places here, my favorite Turkish place near work came back three different ways with mostly the same people and menu.
    Anyway, cheers folks

@glen_malley My favorite Indian place did this. They closed for six months before opening around the corner, but it was apparently due to landlord issues. The landlord tore down the original building and built an おしゃれ crepe shop in its place. Then there’s a Chinese place near my house that occasionally closes for about a month and reopens with completely different staff!

@softicecreamlesley I always got the feeling some places were handed off over time as people decided to go back home, or something.
