@rysiek I'm not a lawyer, much less international trade law... but I have the strong suspicion that mighty Dear Leader has missed the fact that he probably can't single out Spain when there's established free trade agreements with the European Union

That said, I wonder if that means that Spain will lose access to all the US-based Big Tech services and tools? Because it would seem to me as if that was the case.
And if that's the case… tech sovereignty becomes even more clear of a choice for EU.
@rysiek
Either the Iranians launch the nukes: or we live long enough to see every hosting provider, municipality and laptop refurbishing firm cough out their own Mastodon/Peertube/etc. instance.
Interesting times to say the least. -

@rysiek If every country stopped trading with the U.S. for a month, maybe even a week, would it send a message?

I wrote to him earlier and asked him if AI wrote his speech because he definitely doesn't seem to have understood it.

@rysiek besides, we don't have any problem when USA used the bases for NATO operations, but last time we back them for an illegal war it doesn't paid the price.

@teknomagic yup. I just hope part of this will be moving faster on tech sovereignty and unplugging from US Big Tech
