Happy to report that I survived a morning attending a Pokemon card convention with my 8y/o kid.
Waited in the freezing cold an hour early just to score some free Pokemon swag. Haggled with vendors for cards I knew nothing about. Took a bunch of selfies with life sized Pokemon and even scored some free energy drinks.
My kid also had fun too I suppose
10/10 would recommend. Even if showering beforehand seemed optional (
