    @FiddleSix
    I am terrible at knitting. I don't keep the tension loose enough and it gets tighter and tighter. I can crochet though.

      @NorcalGma2 Is that done in stem stitch? I have a sewing project on the mannequin that will require some embroidery, which I haven't done since I was a child, so I've been trying to refresh my skills. The first thing I tried was stem stitch and I did it so badly. So, so badly. Moved on to something that seemed easier, but it doesn't make that beautiful line like what you've done there.

            @CakesOfPan
            It is a stem stitch. When I was a kid I learned it as a running stitch. Since I am turning these out fairly quickly I use the stitch that is easiest for me. After close to sixty years of practice my stitches are fairly even.

              @NorcalGma2 On that page, there's a link to the crochet version of the pattern.

                  Love this! I've started crocheting again since my left hand is basically only good for wrapping yarn around. Finished a new toy for Skippyjon during the Super Bowl and started a Melt Ice beanie for my son!

                    Maybe we should barter sometime? I could use one of those beanies.

                      If his turns out well, I'll happily make you one! I'm still super slow but progressively improving!
