Delta Flower Scarab Beetle (Trigonopeltastes delta), or the D Beetle, is named for the black, triangle-shaped (delta) marking on its pronotum, which can resemble the head of a wasp or alien to frighten predators.They are very small in size but they can carry burden 50 times their own bodies' capacity. The beetle features unique antennae that look like tiny, folded bird feet. Their larvae live and grow inside rotting wood or decaying leaf litter.
