This is only around 1.5-2.0 mm so at first I wasn't even sure it was a 'thing'.It is a flea beetle, seemingly Phyllotreta vittula. They are rarely recorded and not at all locally. That is probably because they are so tiny rather than because they are actually rare. Either way a great start to the year.#insects #beetles #entomology
