Hello everyone!

Hello everyone! How are you? We took a stroll through part of the botanical garden before the wind picked up. Lots of spring flowers around and the biggest poinsettia I've ever seen. Also a duck hanging out in the Japanese garden section.
Hope you all had a good weekend! Very productive one here. Lots of planting and beekeeping prep.

When I visited Hawaii years ago, I was surprised to see them grown as bushes there.
I love those hyacinths. They must have smelled wonderful. I think this winter was too much for mine. I see no sign of any shoots emerging.

My iris were doing OK until the last frozen spell. I'm hopeful, though.

That's what happened here. We covered all we could but all our raspberries were set back a bit. Oddly one grape is sprouting strongly. -
