      @eedly I bought two of those feeder types but our flickers ignore them and would rather cling for life onto our Squirrel Buster feeds that are made for the smaller birds lol

        @justin This one's been up for weeks. Initially, it was ignored, but then the bushtits started mobbing it, and after a couple of weeks of that, the local scrub jay took notice and started hitting it, and I guess the flickers watched the scrub jay and finally decided to give it a go. Yesterday afternoon I noticed a crow watching the flickers from that utility pole, so maybe the crows are next.
