Understanding the weather in Canada is easy, because every season is exactly two months long:

Two months of spring, two months of summer, two months of fall, two months of winter, two months of winter II, and two months of winter III.

(Winter III isn't so bad, honestly)

@tess I woke up to a few centimeters of fresh snow - never change your winter tires until mid/end of April πŸ™‚

@tess just 2 months of summer sounds like a dream πŸ˜€. How hot is it in the summer and how bad is it in one of the winters?

@vascorsd summers here can get to over 30, winters have days where it's easily -20. It is very much a continental climate.

@tess Montana, on the other hand, has four seasons; July, August, September and Winter.

@tess Wow... when you add up the winter months its really cold...spring? Summer is the only time you really get some sun hours, otherwise, it drizzles and.. How you calculate all that is amazing. You can do so because you are Canadian and its a natural response. A good friend of mine sent me a picture last month of his place... it was a few feet in deep snow. I wish you well when it comes to survival...

@tess We get spring? In my little corner of Canada, the difference between overcoat water and t shirt weather can be as little as 8 days.
