Summer is the only time you really get some sun hours, otherwise, it drizzles and.. How you calculate all that is amazing. You can do so because you are Canadian and its a natural response. A good friend of mine sent me a picture last month of his place... it was a few feet in deep snow. I wish you well when it comes to survival...

It is very much a continental climate.
