@anolandria im not baffled. Some of us here in the USofA don’t believe in any of this red white n blue hype bullshit over here, and pretty much ridicule it altogether. I didn’t choose to be born in this trashy excuse of a country. I would’ve picked Costa Rica if I had a choice.

Lots of folks here drink the social media koolaid but don’t think it’s all of us.

A: I agree USA media is censored & heavily manipulated.

B (my point): the OG TikTok fuss was the surveillance baked into it. Spying, not censoring, was when banning and a forced sale began being called for.

hackers (esp cypherpunks) called out the giant irony (only us apps can surveil us like that).
