    @ottaross We pre-celebrated last night with a home made pizza. On purpose, of course. πŸ˜‰

      @ottaross I’m making a pie today. Will also make a pie on Nov 10 (or there about) the 314th day of the year. Love pi and pie.

            @uhandrew good strategy. Don't miss 22/7 (22 July) which is another good pie opportunity.

                @ottaross I work at a pizza-software company and Pi Day is statistically a "pizza attracting day" (most customers are in the US).

                Seems like more of a US thing, but pizzas are regularly called pies, even outside of Chicago-style ones.

                It's also my birthday and I'm going to Pizza Nerds with my family so I'm doing my bit.

                @insom it's the Italian influence:

                🎢 "When the moon hits your eye
                Like a big pizza pie,
                That's amore." 🎡

                        @ottaross Pi day totally flew under my radar this year, but for some reason I felt compelled to get a saskatoon berry pie at Farm Boy!

                          @zazzoo well done. I might need to walk over and get something to bulk up the blueberries I have in the freezer to make a suitably robust pie today.

                                      @ottaross Yeah, they've turned into a real sit-down restaurant for Roberto's Corners which is itself a fantastic Italian sandwich place that used to be (still is?) run out of the back of a gas station on St.Laurent.

                                      Still, I was in Toronto last week hanging around Kensington and brought back a pie from Pie in the Sky, there. Sad to say it wasn't in the same league. 😞
