    Many people pointed out in threads that fertilizer would be a big deal in my toots on oil and helium.

    Tada. They were right. Of course they were. So while we are all concerned about fuel prices, while the wheat of Ukraine gains Russian fertilizer and optical fiber ( i could not resist), a basic human substrate is also an issue.

    And how it gets transported could become secondary.

    This, in my eyes, all started in Crimea.

      @knowprose Loss of markets, increased tariff related import costs and now a throttle on fertilizer supply; how about them apples rural America?
