      @thenewoil Sorry, but Proton burned their bridge with me after giving away info to the local gov. that then said gov. gave it to the FBI. They can't be trusted anymore.

              @cslinuxboy @thenewoil Every company in existence has to obey the laws of the countries they operate in, including responding to court orders. This is one reason Signal built their protocol to retain as little metadata as possible, so that when they receive subpoenas, they have nothing useful to provide in the first place. Proton however PGP encrypts your email inbox. That doesn't mean the police can't demand other information from them, or read the other person's copy of any emails you sent.
