    ⏳ Times up. Sadly, this historical place is about to disappear forever.

    Demolition work is underway on the site, progressing steadily at this 1940s aircraft research facility. Once at the cutting edge of aerodynamics R&D, the site's 8x8ft supersonic tunnel tested flight components at Mach 2.5.

    Already the smaller 3x3 tunnel facility and control room have been levelled; this one looks to be set to be next.

          @ObsidianUrbex For some reason, the first picture reminds me a lot of the deeper levels of the classic Portal 2 videogame. It feels as if these floor plates mark places which will be covered by one of the gels which are introduced in these levels.
