@randahl It had been suggested prior to the start of operation epic fury that it would be so much better if #Israel stuck #Iran first and then #US joined in, just like it did in the operation rising lion.
The reasoning is that #US can maintain legally that it did not initiate the war. It just helped out a major non-NATO ally which is #Israel. This way #Trump can simply go around legal obstacles. While claiming and basking in its glory.

They also said, and still say, that there could be “no daylight” between US and Israeli policy.
Of course, ultimately the only way to get “no daylight” is to let Israel dictate US policy.
