It’s not my cynicism, it’s an assertion by The Hill.
Pockets of Dems have been calling for him to step down for over a year and here we are. By what mechanism will that change?

One of the fun facts about predictions in politics is that they are wrong about 50% of the time. Even the polls with all their scientific integrity have a hard time of prediction. I learned a long time ago to follow what I think should be what's happening and vote accordingly. In this case after what IDF did to Gaza I won't support most any Jewish backed organization. Genocide by any group is not acceptable. And it is a Genocide by any standard.

Was Biden better than the Orange guy?
Was Kamal better than the Orange guy?

We got the worst option because people who should have voted for her, just never showed up

        I'll go one better.
If you didn't vote out of choice, and lean left, then you are more responsible for deaths than either Biden or the party.

Hey, can you please indicate who you are responding to?

It would make things a lot easier to follow if you had the name of the person you are responding to first, then your response, then the cc's

some people don't care about fixing the world or righting wrongs

their primary concern is rationalizing to themselves their entitlement to sit it out and whine

they don't want to sully their magical sense of purity. their self-regard is their highest concern, they do not care if the country is fascist. as long as they get to say "not my fault" when we're going to concentration camps. even though it is their fault, because they did not participate

@benroyce @roger @Netraven @mcnado You are definitely not fixing the world by voting for democrats. Same bombs will fall on the same people and the same elites will keep profiting. If you are willing to throw everyone outside the US under the bus just to get some sense of normality within your country, then we don't have the same goals.

No, I’m arguing against throwing your vote away on the corrupt and irredeemable Democratic Party.

                                      Ha!
Right, you are suggesting throwing your vote away by not voting, to avoid throwing your vote away by voting for the somewhat less nasty candidates.

                                      Sure

i'm not going to convince them of anything

i'm going to roast the fuck out of them so everyone else reading along can see what a pathetic fool they are and why their whiny useless indolence is pro-fascism

It’s like brainwashing. We’ve been voting for ‘the best possible’ Dem candidates for decades and it brought us to this exact moment.

No, those who didn't vote brought us to this moment. Had people paid attention things would have been far from here. Biden/Harris had us in a place that would have rebuilt the economy between WWII and 1970's. Unions back in strength, if you look at the 5 bills that trump doesn't dare allow you'll see what I'm saying. Ignorance & not paying attention is what brought us here. GOP has been fighting for this for 75 years. B/H almost got it back in 4years.
