@protonprivacy I am concerned about those proposals that require a centralization of intellectual property and identity. Because governments are not well known for keeping those kinds of things secure or preventing them from being misused. Even the distributed solutions that only have the machine reporting the age group of the user account is problematic. Because then the machine becomes a beacon telling all of the predators that here is a potential victim. That may be security for the web portals, but it's certainly NOT security for the children! I get the feeling that the people who write these prospective laws never asked any independent security personnel. (The likelihood is that every one of those proposals was written by a lobbyist with a vested interest.) they seem to take the security onus from the web service site and put it in the wind. Making a change that does away with any sense of security whatsoever.

@protonprivacy before 18 years of age, children's shouldn't allow to use phone. I already said to my 9year old kid that he will get his 1st phone after 12th standard. Till thn use my phone in front of me,if needed.
