@Tutanota Voluntary scanning was allowed for a while already, under some specific program. That program expires in 2026, hence the renewed push to replace it with either mandatory scanning or refreshing the expired program.

@Tutanota Every Western gov't is corrupted by this desire to control its citizenry. It exhibits their weakness and lack of faith in their own system of gov't (that they do not practice or believe in). And they're our rulers!
