In my experience the face filters are pretty rare. But I'm still on multiple panels a week these days where it is obvious that the candidate is reading answers from a screen.

Yeah, and we're even asking people to show us how they use AI during coding interviews, if they happen to be people that like AI. It's not verboten. Ya just can't misrepresent AI work as your own!

@nixCraft well glad I'm retired as my 1-finger salute when asked to a hand in front of face probably wouldn't go over very well. Maybe it would and that might indicate a good place to work.
