          @cmconseils I just walked away from a video call and had a 15 minute conversation with my chickens on why the “Duck Tales” theme song was stuck in my head for the past 3 hours.

          To put it mildly they were quite judgy about the whole thing.

              Sure. Often they respond. If not with sound, then with wings ore other behaviour.
              We both know, that the other one doesn't understand. But that's my way of showing some respect to the creature.
              It's like talking to a foreigner, if you don't understand the other's language.

                  @cmconseils All the time 😆 I also give off the cuff ratings to their various maneuvers on my walks like complimenting the squirrels when they make a particularly difficult jump from a fence to a nearby tree, or a lizard which is holding perfectly still to avoid notice. The crows sometimes "talk" back, especially when I try to explain to them that hawks have the same right to sit in a tree as they do. 😃
