    @heidilifeldman
    They all have this certain look on their face....I can't pin it down.
    Disdain?
    Contempt?
    Superiority?
    Whatever it is,it needs to be wiped off with a smack of democracy.

      @SharonCrockett @heidilifeldman Why, when all they have to do is what they are doing? 😞

      @CStamp @heidilifeldman Well, they can keep doing what they’re doing, but since they can’t govern effectively and have no interest in governance, eventually their beliefs and ideas will become marginalized. I’m just saying, let them experience authoritarian oligarchy, à la Russia, for instance, and let them find out how much they like it.

        @heidilifeldman We should insist on a constitutional amendment barring them from government positions.

          @heidilifeldman not even the point really. What you say, is a clue to how you think. He believes in hate because he hates. Also, he’s an insufferable coward.

              @heidilifeldman I think of them as a throwback to the loyalist tories who were against the revolution to separate from Great Britain. There have always been “monarchist-“ & authoritarianism-loving people in our country. They don’t believe in the basic principles of our constitution & bill of rights. Ironically, they benefit from those very same principles which they deride. If they don’t like the idea of representative self-government, then they can emigrate to Hungary.

              @SharonCrockett @heidilifeldman It's appropriate. They quote those guys. In his little presentation on how we should "reboot the US government", Yarvin in fact brags about being a follower of some nobody from back then that did exactly that: argued that the upstart colonialists were all wrong and should be executed.

              "Nobody else reads this guy but I do and he's right" or some shit like that.

              It's exactly who they are and they know it.

                  Long after we rid ourselves of Trump, his Cabinet, Steve Miller, the Roberts Court, Mike Johnson, etc., we will still have to do the work reconstructing the U.S. as a secular, pluralist constitutional democracy. 2/

                      It is hard to maintain an appetite for political reconstruction. People want to forget awful times and awful conduct and paper over problems and conflicts. But we can’t ever have secular, pluralist constitutional democracy in the U.S. if we don’t do the work of disqualifying those who have destroyed it from government. 6/6

                        If the U.S. pro-constitutional-democracy movement prevails, many now fairly anonymous Republican Fascists, especially, those now under 30, are likely to try to coverup their views and conduct during the past 10-15 years. 4/

                              @heidilifeldman need a constitutional convention. Lots to fix structurally. Firewalls to build. An expanded Supreme Court would have a hard time worrying about what “the founders” thought when the new constitution is clear and relevant.

                                        @heidilifeldman

                                        I still think we need to get rid of both "parties". Many have forgot that dems are simply better at hidding their shit.

                                        Standing Rock, Occupy Wall Street ... oh, and all the tertists attavking homeless people for simply existing in (1st Amendment) public spaces.

                                          @heidilifeldman Let's just say that Argentina is not a prime destination to cleanse one's soul of racism.
