got the first of my #shingles #vaccines and:

1. did not know innoculation is broken into two parts. in another 2 months i will get the second round.

2. even though i prepared for the “flu-like symptoms” side-effects, i haven't had the flu in so long i forgot how bad it feels.

but i don't care. the evidence is too stacked in favor of the vaccine being a major deterrent in the development of #Alzheimer's #dementia.

so if y’all did know you need a 2nd shot, go get it.

@blogdiva This reminds me I've been thinking of getting this vaccine - will probably do it on the 29th so the side effects hit on a weekend.

Shingles is AWFUL even if you get the most convenient kind

And it’s brought on by STRESS so you get it at the worst time

And you’re pretty contagious again while you have it

I strongly recommend the vaccine just for that!

Itchy and sticky and scabby. Did not like.
