@20002ist That was unforgivable, but at least he was held to account (or more to account than other members of the administration) for that.

@20002ist What I will never let go of was what led to the terrible communications failures on 9/11. It was more than the fire radios, which were a symptom. The underlying problem was that in the long standing battle between the NYPD and FDNY, which every previous mayor stayed out of, he picked a side (NYPD, of course). And so they were allowed to exclude FDNY from the incident command center, resulting in no warning from the NYPD helicopter of the imminent collapse.

@mattblaze I still think about Eleanor Bumpurs (whose murder by NYPD he refused even to investigate as US Attorney) and Amadou Diallo (murdered when Rudy was mayor by a thuggish NYPD unit expanded in size under his watch) and wonder how many other avoidable and unredressed killings he was responsible for.

@mattblaze Tomorrow will be somewhat fragmented for me, but I hope to find time to listen to both Four Seasons, Vivaldi and Piazzola.

@mattblaze Wishing Rudy Giuliani a speedy exit from the news cycle, by whatever means.

What was it that Trump said about Mueller? That. In all caps.

@EthicalProfessor @mattblaze Broad but not eclectic. Piazzola is as much classical music as Glass.
