It's incredible,when you think about it, billions of dollars taken away from program that helped people to later invest them in programs that hurt people.
And they continue to say they protect Christianity? Their actions are the opposite of what Christianity stands for. -

The more I think about this, the more I think organizing an ongoing protest would be fairly easy to do, and could add in many of the visitors to the area.
It's not that far from the parks, and right off of the Beeline for anyone going from Orlando to the eastern beaches.
It's not like their freaking Alcatraz, this is right near all the tourist destinations.
And freaking Daniel Webster... I thought we'd gotten rid of him.

That's exactly right! In my state we are even driving out into the country to protest outside proposed concentration camp sites, and they are getting more pushback from the locals than they expected. The presence of such a facility does not create jobs for locals, and it hurts property values. People are listening to those arguments if they don't already care about the moral aspect.Pressure IS working, it just doesn't work all at once.

UPDATE: the owners of the industrial building are no longer selling it.

@heidilifeldman of course fucking NH signed up. I feel like every politician there has forgotten their motto of "Live free or die" New England's mostly liberal but for some reason they've been like "yeah but what if we kissed bigoted republican ass?!" for years now.

@masukomi (the Wikipedia article does not adequately capture how influential people from the free state people have been here. They've been running for local office like crazy and have now pretty much taken over the state house, aligned with MAGA Republicans.)
