Apparently that's one individual's opinion. It's hard to tell, I don't understand that language.@desertsquare @claudius Of course it is an individual opinion, but it seems to be pretty common. Even parts of the main cast are expressing their disappointment with the show.
There are rumors the second season is already canceled, but I think this will not happen, because contracts are signed, studio space is rented etc. Likely they will try a redesign in Season 2 and have a look how this works. The descission for more seasons will be made after this, I presume. If it's not canceled it's not a proof Paramount has faith in the show, it's just risk management. Cancelation is likely more expensive than to shoot the season.Anyways, Starfleet Academy is the definition of a shitshow. Lets hope it will not end the careers of the cast, because some of them are really good actors, especially Holly Hunter and Paul Giamatti.
