@lapt0r @AAKL @TheConversationUS Except the MRFF hasn't actually been able to provide concrete evidence that any of those supposed complaints are real, and no one has gone to complain to any other media outlet or their senator or congressman, and no other media outlet has been able to corroborate MRFF's story.
Not saying there isn't a problem in the military. Just saying MRFF isn't the most trustworthy spokesman about the substance or magnitude of the problem. -

Same for anything from Murdochosphere, Sinclair group, probably Bezos at this point, anything Thiel has touched...
Active duty servicemembers also have restrictions around communicating with foreign nationals - this is part of the stuff they drill into your head during basic.
So if you're an enlisted 19 year old from an unfriendly (or unknown alignment) legislative district, who do you call?
I hope these claims are independently verified. I don't think foreign services will have a lot of success doing so, and I don't really expect the big US media players to play ball - they need access which will be pulled immediately if any sort of investigative journalism comes to the attention of the admin.
