    Does anybody know what elementary file 2FE4 contain on SIM cards? It doesn't look like it is described in any standards I've looked at, and its contents varies widely across cards. Maybe boost for reach?

      @infosecdj

      I'm quite sure pinging @LaF0rge on this subject is the closest way to have an answer

          @infosecdj
          It's not described in EMV either, I just checked in case it was something related to financial interchange, so it's not that.

            @infosecdj just guessing, but some of these looks like date formats. Might be information on the cards manufacturer, like production date/batch number and so

              @infosecdj are the samples from cards from 2011-2013 this would fit that theory.
              For example: Sample 1: 130523 → May 23, 2013

                @nieldk which is precisely why I am asking, indeed 🙂 I suspect at least some formats to carry product-specific information and want to know the format, if any standard applies at all here.

                  @infosecdj I’ll see if I can dig up some of my SIM cards not being used anymore. If I can find any, I’ll be happy to send you them . (dK sims)
