@femme_mal I have an aventon abound. It.doesnt hit your folding need or weight (it's closer to 70lb) but I've been happy with it. They might have something that hits your list.

@heckinteagan Did you purchase it through a local bike shop? I'm in driving distance (I suspect), I'd give that shop my business if they carry Aventon but in something closer to my needs.

@femme_mal I got it from aventon directly and had it shipped to a local bike shop. Next time I'd go to the shop, and purchase/order there.

@femme_mal We invested in a rear carrier which tilts down for loading. But it's not cheap.

@harold If the bike is that heavy it's rather necessary for someone my size. I'd also have to have a hitch installed on my Honda. In for a penny, in for a pound.

@femme_mal Yeah, we had to do the same but our car was new and we figured it was a good long-term investment. It also means we can ride together as I take my 'acoustic' bike along with my wife's electric.

@femme_mal Check out the company Lectric. They make a smaller-wheeled folding e-bike that might fit your needs.

I ride their larger two-wheel, which is too heavy for your needs and doesn't fold up, but my main electric is their trike, which does fold; but it's 65 pounds and would be difficult to lift into a CRV (I know this because I drive a Honda element and I ended up having to buy a specific trailer hitch bike rack just for the trike, which happily fits both the bikes I own from them).

However, people seem to really like their small-wheeled foldable bikes quite a bit. Bonus, the company is located in the US, in Arizona. They have great tutorial videos for home repairs, a ton of different accessories to help carry cargo, etc. and decent customer service.
