      @cR0w
      It's pretty young, but most likely a Black Bear based on posture and shape of the shoulders.

          @cR0w Without a higher res picture to maybe see the ears, it's very strongly in favor of a blonde black bear rather than a brown bear. It's butt is higher than it's front shoulders and there's no hump.

            @cR0w @garthderby a brownish black bear. (ie. not a Grizzly) too small in the shoulders and paws even for a youngster

              @cR0w @scottley I was going to say black, too. It's a tough angle, but it looks shorter (head-to-tail) and rounder to me than I'd expect of a brown bear. Seems to be missing the "hump" of the front shoulder, too?

              Could be juvenile brown, though I guess?

              @cR0w @scottley The real tell is whether its poo smells of pepper spray and has bells in it

                  Not sure, but all the women I asked would rather spend time with him.

                    @cR0w no hump, in north America, I’m saying black bear, also those paws are itty bitty

                    @hotsoup That's what I thought too but the apparent fur color change around the shoulders and difficulty seeing the shoulders have me unsure.

                      @chillybot I can't blame you, you're from NJ. Maybe you'll see what Sasquatch looks like soon. 🫈
