I worked most of the day on my WIP and I feel like I made a lot of progress even though the total new word count was only around 750. It's coming together. The changes I'm making, including the new character, are just what it needs.
And I paid estimated taxes for the first quarter of 2026. Lord, I hate sending money to this administration, but it's what I gotta do so I do it.
We didn't quite make it to 90F (32C), only 87 (31). I kept the windows closed and the house didn't get hot enough for the AC to come on, so that's a win.
