Is anyone in the Fediverse self-hosting an RSS aggregator? Preferably that doesn't need docker?
Looking for recommendations. I'm currently using the Vivaldi integrated one, but that doesn't sync between devices.

@dazfuller I like FreshRSS but there are many others. Btw. almost every solution can be installed without docker.
FreshRSS, a free, self-hostable feeds aggregator
FreshRSS is lightweight, easy to work with, powerful, and customizable.

@juergen @dazfuller +1 for freshrss, mine is installed with yunohost but I'm sure it could be installed manually without too much trouble

+1 just simply installed on a my shared Webhoster (= 0 additional cost).
Works like a charm. And the "mark articles as read" filter list that's there even without plugins is a true time- (and mood-)saver

Sure, there is a documentation provided by the team: https://github.com/FreshRSS/FreshRSS?tab=readme-ov-file#manual-install
