There is beauty in death I guess.
Same as with Tscherenkow Radiation.It looks eerily beautiful, especially in real life but it also means certain death.
Well not certain of course, it depends on the activity level but.. I am referring to reactor cores so that usually does mean death

But I tell you, pictures can not convey the feeling you get watching that unfold in real life. I have been on top of this exact one when it was fired up and from utter darkness (was special demonstration for visitors) 10 m below your feet water starts glowing and bubbling.
Then this mesmerising vista slowly unfolds. Visible to you from a safe distance but simply with your naked eye.
