Can you tell the time on an analogue clock?
Boost for my sanity
@MelissaBearTrix Since I am a left/right leghastenic (,I am right on exactly 50 per cent or as my driving instructor said "this time we'll take the turn to the OTHER left) I need the hours marked. Otherwise I might confuse three with nine ...

Yes, but not always. Sometimes it feels like nonsense.
@unicorn clocks repaired by @MelissaBearTrix feel always right
-
@MelissaBearTrix if they don't teach this in schools anymore I am severely disappointed
-
@MelissaBearTrix It's a quarter to ten of the clock lol
-
@MelissaBearTrix I can't read the time with digital clocks. I look at one, see numbers, brain fizzes out.
-
@sodiboo@gaysex.cloud @MelissaBearTrix@gives.hugz.online i need to count the minutes sometimes but I can definitely tell
-
@MelissaBearTrix yes but in all honesty it takes me a second to properly comprehend it cuz naturally i think in 24h format time more than 12h format and i kinda have to convert in my head
-
@MelissaBearTrix@gives.hugz.online @sodiboo@gaysex.cloud awawawawawawa i needed some

@MelissaBearTrix Can I tell you? Yes. Fast? No. Do i consider it obsolete to not use digital clocks, that just show the numbers directly? Yes.
Its just more convenient to use digital.
-
@MelissaBearTrix I am the kid from that one image that's just a drawing of a digital clock with the prompt "draw a clock that shows 10 minutes past 11" so what do you think

@MelissaBearTrix I just can't be on time, on an analogue clock... or a digital clock

That it is, I have a digital clock that I use to set the time of all other clocks and watches

@MelissaBearTrix I voted yes, but I find digital clocks much more convenient. The digital (24h) representation is pretty much how time is stored in my brain, reading an analog clock requires 'translation' for me to 'get' it, and that after taking longer (a few seconds rather than just a glance) to see what it says. So I'll get by with analog but digital is way more convenient for me.
Interestingly, my husband has it the other way round.

I have to say, I do like the 24 hours time and digital better, it's easy to set other timepieces by

@wynke @MelissaBearTrix
Interesting, I grew up with 12h analog and both 12h and 24h digital types of clocks around so they all work for me. -

Why is this even a question?
Oh right, boost for sanity. Don't tell me. I wanna keep the shreds if mine. -
