@tisanae @fiore @jackemled fucking tedious to configure and just... overly complex with little reward as things like qpwgraph pipelines dont even tend to persist making it all the more annoying to let me split minecraft audio into its own device that i can still hear but can lower the volume for in obs

@coolbean @fiore @jackemled yeah wireplumber is a bit limited for persistent things, but base pipewire is much easier to configure than everything else except jack, but its more stable

@fiore @coolbean I still don't know enough to be able to figure it out from scratch even with a list of all packages. I don't know what it is that it actually needs from its dependencies & I can't go through all of the code to figure that out because I don't know the language.

@tisanae @fiore @jackemled nope the packages just pull in pulseaudio which apparently has an openbsd/sndio port and yea it runs automatically via dbus when needed

@fiore @coolbean Not for Chimera. The only difference should be the package names, but installing all packages that have similar names to everything mentioned for all other operating systems doesn't make it work. There's probably something specific to Chimera that's missing.

It has a KDE store page but no actual package on it for some reason. I'm pretty sure desktop effects get a special universal package for Plasma instead of the operating system.

@fiore @coolbean It's probably not worth building if it's AI generated though.

Something weird is happening with the commits from the claude account, & it seems to happen for every repository I see it listed as a contributor on. Between ten & twenty commits made in a single day & none of them are visible on GitHub in any branch for any tag.

@fiore @coolbean Maybe you should look though because the GitHub UI is terrible & I might be looking at it wrong. I would just clone the repository & then search for commits created by a specific "user", but I don't know how to search through local repositories like that.
