PM is what got me into this stupid printing business in the late 1980s, and not on purpose, but once I mastered it and later QuarkXPress, I was in it for better or worse.
It turned out fine career-wise.
I wasn't aware of his post-Aldus philanthropy. What a mensch. Today's tech-bros should take notice.

@david Pagemaker was the first software I worked with. That and later DTP tools. Good times.
