    @elfa @nextgraph @ironcalc @blocknote @AnanasTeknik @ontola @xwiki @CryptPad @uradotdesign @danubetech @xrhf @nlnet

    Beautiful and necessary project with inspired european team members πŸ’™ my full support and hope.

    I am working on a decentralized emancipatory Society OS, and I would be happy to align with the Elfa Suite.

    Did you already decide for the core tech stack? (Nextgraph, Tauri, React,...etc)

    Hi @timcoucou thanks for your interest and enthusiasm! The stack is based on Nextgraph, Tauri for native apps, and React combined with Svelte. The SDK for third party apps is for now available in React, Svelte and Vue, could be extended.

      @elfa @artfulrobot so you're accepting chat control even though it hasn't been passed. good to know

      @humanhorseshoes @artfulrobot We at ELFA don't "accept" chat control. We would like it not to be adopted. We consider that E2EE and privacy is a fundamental right to every citizen. We also consider that such legislation would not improve the security situation. Chat control is not adopted yet, but we don't know what will be in the future.

          @elfa @nextgraph @ironcalc @blocknote @AnanasTeknik @ontola @xwiki @CryptPad @uradotdesign @danubetech @xrhf @nlnet this is cool, though as I'm just starting to research currently available Google and ms alternatives, I'm wondering why, for example, NextCloud isn't here?

          Hi @Frost, and thank you for your interest in ELFA! There are several existing alternatives that are readily avaialble. NextCloud is one of them. Those suites lack for now some important features: federation, end-to-end encryption, local-first and CRDTs. And we will be very happy to work with them to provide them access to those features. ELFA is an open platform looking for interoperability and convergence with other solutions. We are open to talk with NextCloud for collaboration!

              Hmm... BlockNote describes itself as:

              "The AI-native, open source rich text editor for React"

              That does not sound like something people here would typically be enthusiastic about?

              Hi @tml and thanks for your question. We are glad you asked.
              There is no AI in ELFA and no plan to have it.
              As you must know (being in the business of collaborative software) BlockNote is a library/component that is used in hundreds of products, and only offers AI for those who want it.
              ELFA counts as its partner the wonderful BlockNote team, and we are going to work together to bring the best note taking, personal knowledge manager, and wiki to ELFA, without AI.

                    @timcoucou No AI planned for now on our side.
                    ELFA is an open platform where the user has full access and control over their data. If some developers want to add AI to their own system based on ELFA, they can.

                                      @elfa@fosstodon.org the phrase "I want to know whey you are launching" is not consent. You have no privacy policy on YOUR page and Nextgraph.org has a privacy policy that is four years old with massive gaps in it. I am not "overreacting" I am applying privacy law as written.

                                      This will materially affect your Horizon funding. GDPR compliance is mandatory and if your consortium cannot show compliance then your funding is at risk because you are not compliant.

                                        @elfa ThanksπŸ™

                                        I see that Nextgraph speaks about smart contracts, which is great. Are they in the scope of Elfa?

                                        If yes, what will be their capabilites?
