    Anyone else on the #fairphone6 who still has not received the Android 16 update? My phone remains on Android 15 and more importantly the Android security update dates from the 5th of February (esp. the latest update seems critical, see https://securityaffairs.com/193057/breaking-news/google-patches-actively-exploited-android-flaw-affecting-millions-of-devices.html).

      @futtta I assuming that you're on proximus?

      I am also still waiting on a security update for my fairphone 5 which is on proximus.

      Supposedly they need to do some kind of testing on the firmware to make sure that it works with their network and that's why the updates are delayed. Meanwhile other customers of if you took out the SIM card of the phone and factory reset it; a lot of those have already gotten the update.

      Fairphone is aware of this issue and supposedly can't solve it

            @thibaultmol so what if I disable the SIM and try updating over Wifi? Or does the PX-link remain somehow?

                  @futtta stuur maar een klacht naar fairphone en Proximus als je tijd/zin hebt. Heb/ga ik ook doen... Is systematisch zo. Echt rampzalig

                    @thibaultmol OK, I had an old Orange SIM, activated it with Mobile Vikings disalbed and even though the Orange SIM does not work (no service) the update is downloading as we speak .. Incredible that Px/ FF (claim they) cannot fix this!

                      @futtta last time I bothered looking into everything, the update did eventually land but it was like three months late or something and it was after many phone calls with proximus
