#Spotted at a Multicultural Festival in Aotearoa New Zealand:

A couple (teens) are sitting crossed legged, facing each other.
Love hearts face painted on their cheeks.
Passing a mug of masala chai between them as they chat.

A man (70s?) in a plaid shirt, shorts and bare feet is walking along, then stops abruptly. Grinning and saying to his friend: "Phwoa! Korean barbeque?! I gotta get some of that in me right now!"

A small human (6?) is supervising people playing a Japanese fishing game. With a fierce frown, he explains to a dad that he's doing it wrong, then carefully demonstrates the correct technique.
    Some things require an expert.

A woman (50s?) has spotted a group of children and grown ups throwing Gulal powder* at each other and in the air. Grinning at her partner, she says: "Hold my chicken love, I gotta go get some colour."
She runs into the fray, getting coated with a rainbow of colours, hugging her friends.

A small human (6?) runs up to Mum and says: "Mum! Uhm they have ice cream thingies and chocolate thingies and strawberry thingies. And uhm can I have some?!"
Mum says: "You can have one."
Small Human's face screws up in intense thought before saying optimistically. "You mean one each?"

Any typos spotted are looking forward to next year's festival. If typos spotted, they'll be daydreaming about dumplings in between furiously writing their wordcount for the day.

*Gulal powder is the colourful powder used to celebrate Holi the Festival of Colours.
