I have played a few games of Slay the Spire 2 now and have managed at least one win with 4 out of 5 characters. Really struggling with the Regent though. They just don't seem to have enough power to get through Act 1 well (if at all) and then I lose momentum. Don't think I have made it past the Act 2 boss yet. Any tips?

@GlasWolf Makes total sense. I just got past Kaiser Crab (my least favourite Act 2 boss) and realised I have zero forge cards.

@GlasWolf Also, got frozen egg early on so I've picked up a lot of upgraded powers including the one that gives free stars each turn and the one that gives block when you spend stars.

@GlasWolf Nope, just wiped near the beginning of Act 3. Took too long waiting for my powers to get out and nearly died against big caw guy, then died a few battles later.

@GlasWolf Made it to the Act 3 boss on the next run, but at too low hp to get through. Again, ignored forge and got a lot of powers. I think I'm getting better at managing my stars and at picking up a good balance of star gain and star cost cards. Kingly Kick has been useful too.
