    It's Thursday so I've been on my usual Wednesday bike ride.
    At 41.4km this is the furthest I've ridden in one go since March 2017.
    My quest for fitness continues - I suppose I should have been grateful for the headwind on this ride, but it made it hard work, particularly on the hilly bits!

    I discovered a handy new coffee place in Kirby Mallory πŸ‘

    I'm still pondering entering my 50km DIY #AudaxUK ride next week. πŸ€”

      and yes, I got lost in the new estate! (New Lubbesthoroe)!

      and yes, I ignored the "Road Closed" signs on the road to Elmesthorpe and had a lovely peaceful section of road to myself and the dog walkers

      and no, I decided not to do a wee in the farm gateway when I spotted the CCTV camera! 😳

        @MikeFromLFE I love that bit round Peckleton, although I haven't been good like you and cycled there.

          @howisyourdog
          Yes Peckleton is one of my favourite villages.
          There's a couple of very nice walks around there - easy enough for my wife - we did them several times during lockdown times.
          There's a sunken lane round the back of the church which is only passable in very dry weather.
          The pub became an Indian restaurant and is now a private house.
          If I could move there I certainly would (but I'll never have that sort of money!)
