I discovered last year that they can refuse a claim if you know about pre existing conditions at the time you •book• a trip!

My wife has multiple disabilities and we've learnt to be extremely careful when dealing with the insurers.

Declaring a condition doesn't always increase the cost of cover or impose conditions.
