GoodMorningWorlds!
We are taking Mum shopping this morning, then I need to get her a GP appointment, and pick up my meds. After that, who knows. Maybe a trip to the scrap metal yard, or perhaps just more clearing and packing.

Good morning to you too Alfred
Busy morning for you then.I've been using my holiday to clean the house and sort some of my electronics out. Oh, and do a wash load. MrsSP gas been at a meeting and the eldest of the children is working in a café.
Just taking a break for a coffee. Later there will be tip runs.

@Maker_of_Things Why do I get the feeling you'd come back from the scrapyard with more than you left with?

That used to be the case, as that us where much of my steel, aluminium, and copper stocks has come from. So, really, I have been buying stocks from a yard in Rawtenstall, sitting on them for a while until prices go up, Then selling my stocks to a yard in Trafford!
That makes me a stock broker, doesn't it?

We have an appointment for Mum, my meds are late (hopefully this afternoon), and we have been to the tip with a car load, and to the scrap yard with a trailer load.
Another 540kg of light steel, and 46kg of small electric motors weighed in.
Net £90.50 back into the coffers for the house move. -

It has been good just having stuff ready to go each time.
I think we might take some fluorescent tubes to the recycling at B&Q this afternoon, and pick up my meds on the way back.I am sure the house is feeling lighter already.
Of course, the extra money from the scrap is going to be lost on Trumps vanity project now. Bugsy needs a full tank of DERV fuel this week. -

Yes, the rise on fuel costs is almost as bad as the rise in Raspberry Pi 5s and Freddos. -

Annoyingly I have about 50 litres of old diesel in Jerry cans, but I can't use it in case it messes up the car fuel system. It needs filtering to make sure it is safe, but that means setting up a system for it. And I really don't have the time or inclination right now.

Net £90.50 back into the coffers for the house move.Dropped off some fluorescent lights for recycling at B&Q, and bought a suitable sized box for the trailer winch relay.
Then picked up my meds, filled up Bugsy's tank with the finest champagne (it would have been cheaper than diesel), and put Bugsy through the carwash.
Bugsy is now a clean car with a load of dried bird poo on the bonnet!
